Nandagrama village, Yavat, Vrinda kund
Yavat is the village where Abhimanyu, the husband of Srimati Radharani, and his family lived. This village is known as Jao. There is a Radha Krishna temple in this village called the Radha Kanta Temple. The priests at this temple are friendly. There are Deities of Radha Krishna on the main altar, to the left are deities of Abhimanyu, his mother Jatila, and Kutila. This temple looks like a small fort and is located on a small mound in the middle of this village In this village are also the Madana-Mohan Temple, the Dauji Temple, and Braja-Mohan Temple. On the east bank of Kishori Kund is the Kishori Temple. Javat can easily be visited either while coming or returning to Nandagram, from the main road that goes between Delhi and Vrindavana. It is only a ten-minute side excursion.
Vrinda Kund was given to ISKCON Vrindavan by Sri Madhava das Baba in 1988. Since then the devotees of ISKCON have been maintaining this temple Vrinda Kunda is where Srimati Vrinda Devi is said to contemplate how she will arrange the daily pastimes of Radharani and Krishna. Next to Vrinda Kunda is Gupta Kunda, which is where Radharani is said to secretly meet Krishna. There is a beautiful deity of Vrinda Devi in the temple here. She has a yellow parrot on her left hand. This parrot is said to fly around Vrindavana and on returning tells Vrinda Devi what is happening there. The parrot is named Daksa and is said to have one lakh (100,000) disciples. Vrinda Devi arranges the pastimes in Vrindavana. Tulasi is an expansion of Vrinda Devi. Paurnamasi is the guru of Vrinda Devi.
