The temple was first located on Besserer St., then moved to Cyrville Rd. where Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai deities were installed in 1975. In 1981, the property for the current location of the temple (212 Somerset St. E.) was acquired. In 2010, ISKCON Ottawa celebrated the 35th anniversary of the installation of Their Lordships Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai.
