Bhakti Caitanya Swami
Bhakti Caitanya Swami was born in 1951 in New Zealand. His first contact with Krishna consciousness in university in Auckland. In 1972 Bhakti Caitanya Swami left New Zealand to make an extensive world tour and met ISKCON devotees in London and later joined Srila Prabhupada's ISKCON. After taking initiation from Srila Prabhupada, he became involved in public relations for the Bhaktivedanta Manor. In 1994, during the Gaura Purnima Festival, Bhakti Caitanya Swami Maharaja took sannyasa. Maharaja has continued to travel extensively preaching the message of Krishna consciousness in: Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, England, India, America and South Africa.
