ISKCON Chicago is non-profit organization established in 1974 as a local branch of the larger International Society for Krishna Consciousness. The primary purpose of the organization is to provide spiritual education and community upliftment through open programs and lectures, food distribution, and programs that explore and expand the public understanding of cultivating relationships. The movement is nonsectarian, encouraging those of distinct faiths to sincerely practice what they learn in pursuit of service to God and community.
