Glimpses of Mexico: Celebrating GOVARDHAN PUJA at the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Temple (address: Tiburcio Montiel 45, Colonia San Miguel, Chapultepec D.F., 11850) in Mexico City, Sunday, 18 October, 2009. The festival is celebrated to worship Lord Krishna and commemorate the occasion of his lifting the Govardhan mountain (in Mathura) on his little finger for seven days to save the people from the wrath of Indra, the God of rain.
