Kapindra Swami

Kapindra Swami and the Prabhupada Sankirtan Society moved to Oregon around the end of 2004. Before that they were in East New York.
Kapindra did NOT take sannyas from a Gaudiya Matha guru. The reason  was to encourage Hare Krishna devotees – and all those interested in Krishna consciousness – to take direct shelter under the guidance of Srila Prabhupada. And become, after proper instruction, his direct disciple through the ritvik initiation instituted by His Divine Grace himself. The results have been very encouraging. By His Divine Grace, many more devotees are out in the streets performing Sankirtan worldwide, preaching and distributing Srila Prabhupada’s original books. We are now here in Costa Rica. We attempt to establish here the a truly self-sufficient farm community, based on the varnasram system that Srila Prabhupada wanted so much. The spiritual master of the farm community is naturally Srila Prabhupada.
