ISKCON Perth
Iskcon Perth has been in operation since 1988 with a few devotees travelling out west to help spread the Sankirtan movement. Originally based in the Bayswater area, the temple proved a bit too small for the growing populous of devotees and we have relocated to a bigger premises in the shire of Kalamunda.
The Iskcon Perth website will provide more information on the philosophy of chanting Hare Krsna, the practices of devotees, Govindas Restaurant, how you can be involved and our contact information.
Sunday Feast
The Sunday Feast is held at our Food For Life Restaurant. It starts 5pm every Sunday at: Food For Life, 200 William Street, Northbridge. Just before the Horse shoe Bridge going towards the City Centre. The Sunday Feast has it all: singing, dancing, philosophy and a great feast. All this for just a donation of $4 to cover food costs.
Food for Life Restaurant
Sometimes called the kitchen religion, the Hare Krishnas, are famous for quality wholesome cruelty-free food. This food, offered to God, is called prasadam (mercy). The Perth Food for Life team cook sumptous lunchtime meals Monday to Friday. They also provide budget meals for low income earners.
