The last moments of Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur

I was very impressed by the realizations on the recent disappearance day of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura Prabhupada! When it was time for leaving his body, Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura held the hands of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura, and he told him to preach the message and instructions of the six Gosvamis and Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu. And his wife, the mother of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura, lived on the planet for a few more years. When she was on her deathbed, at that time she also held on to the hands of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura, and she said to preach the teachings of Lord Gauranga, as much and as far as possible. When I heard this, I was very touched.

Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura and his good wife gave a nice example of how the grhasthas should live. Srila Prabhupada, in the lecture in London, said that his Guru Maharaja was the son of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura, who was a grhastha, who was an acarya. So my disciples should also have acaryas as their children. He also said grhasthas should be paramahamsas, what to speak of the brahmacaris?! Every one of the grhasthas, their children, if they can be inspired like that, then that would be really wonderful!
