The Mechanistic Darwinian

The puffed up Darwinian scientific community think themselves very advanced in knowledge. Their effective brainwashing education programs have indoctrinated millions upon millions of supposedly intelligent students, but anyone with real intelligence -- and there are many good scientific members who possess it -- will ask the questions needed to be asked about consciousness, mind and matter.

The Vedic student studies the three Brahman conceptions. Prakriti is Brahman in the field of activities, i.e., the material energies. Brahman is consciousness, or the jiva who is attempting to control Prakriti. And the order, supervision and design of both systems is Brahman as the originator and the cause of all causes.

The mechanistic Darwinian with a poor fund of knowledge will not even consider the separation of mind from matter. To them, psychology is caused simply by neurons and electronic signals as well as chemicals within a brain. We as students of the Vedas don't deny chemistry and electronic signals, but we say that such reactions are set in motion by another more subtle form of matter that is connected to matter as much as the mix of petroleum in a car engine igniting and causing motion is the results of a conscious being putting his foot on a pedal. Without this application the car does nothing and there is no combustion.

The mechanistic Darwinian cannot properly understand the complexity of one call, and ignore subtle energies, considering that energy some kind of superstition. We can assume that the information within the DNA which drives the RNA, that carries information to build proteins that form the nano machines that allows the cell to function and replicate, may have a subtle counterpart, i.e., the modes of nature and their constant mixes, 3x3=9 9×9=81 practically ad infinitum. How material minds and impressions are driving certain mental conditions and how intelligence comes about, and which came first are matters that cripple the Darwinians. Therefore they ignore the matter, although many psychologists know that chemicals and electronic signals in a brain tell little of the goings on in a conscious being.

In this conversation Srila Prabhupada points out the simple truth of psychology:

Prabhupāda: So why the dogs cannot construct such building? [break]...psychology? Why they haven't got the same psychology?

Dharmādhyakṣa: Well, the scientists would say that "We have the same psychology. We have a material psychology, the dog has a material psychology, but we're just a little more advanced, that's all."

Prabhupāda: So similarly, there may be others who are still advanced. Therefore the most advanced is God. This should be the psychology. As we see there is difference between dogs and hogs and man, so go on. Search out. So when you find out the most intelligent person, then he is God. [break]...parataraṁ nānyat. That is statement of Bhagavad-gītā: "No more intelligent. Here, ultimate. I am God." So from psychological point of view, how they can deny God?

Yadubara: No one is teaching that in this big university. Therefore the students are very discouraged, depressed.

Prabhupāda: Īśvaraḥ paramaḥ kṛṣṇaḥ [Bs. 5.1]. Paramaḥ. Paramaḥ means the Supreme. Our definition of God is that supreme in every respect. What man can do, the dog cannot do. What the dog can do, the cat cannot do. What the cat can do, the rat cannot do. So we see so many differences. Therefore there must be others who are more intelligent than man. That is demigod. And there must be others most intelligent than the demigod. In this way, when you come to the final, that is Kṛṣṇa. Īśvaraḥ paramaḥ kṛṣṇaḥ [Bs. 5.1]. Go on finding out more, more, more. When you come to the final, that is God, or Kṛṣṇa. So we take instruction from Him. Therefore we are better than the so-called university professors.

It's very dishonest for the Darwinian to cheat students into believing that the world is simply a world of chemistry and electronic impulses, and whoever has the greatest impulse and chemistry becomes master of the world. Of course, the Darwinian also cannot explain the highly intelligent insects or even the intelligence of a bacterial colony. The Darwinians think no brain means no intelligence. But we know the brain is a computer-like machine, with consciousness as its driver, and simple lifeforms connect their consciousness to their machines in ways currently not understood by science, although scientists can see intelligence plainly at work.
