ISKCON Nigdi, Sri Govinda Dham - video gallery
The Temple of Sri Govind Dham has a very interesting story of its beginning. The preaching started in Gopal Acarya das home in 1993. He worked and preached very hard. The number of people went on increasing day by day. They started to have program in Krishna Temple in Nigdi. People started to come from everyvere. They were not getting permitted to have a temple. Devotes of Nigdi begged, cried to gain a temple. Gour Nitai deities stay with bramacharis in Ravet, near banks of Pavana River. Radhanath Swami Maharaj did the Bhumi Puja. Small ashram and small temple of cording, bamboos, cane and stones was built. The tamale construction was done in 2 years. 21 st March 2011the temples were inaugurated by Maharaj. Picture gallery >>
