Mahadyuti Prabhu

I joined ISKCON in Honolulu, November 1971. I was a bit obstreperous, so I didn't get initiated by Srila Prabhupada until January 1974 (in San Juan, Puerto Rico). In the summer of 1974 Satsvarupa Maharaja was just leaving his service as Prabhupada's secretary to become the head of the Library Party. In 1976 I became the Dallas TP. 
The next summer I got married, but the marriage broke up less than two years later, and I became (and still am) what one might call a vanaprastha. After Srila Prabhupada left his body, I felt really lost in the chaos of ISKCON in America. So I relocated to England in the summer of 1983, where my service became recruiting new devotees at Soho Street in London. In early 1996 I became the TP in Soho. Since then, I've been travelling and preaching, mostly in Europe.
