The sacred Mask dances move s-l-o-w-l-y with each movement stylized. Think...watching paint dry if you are not Buddhist and/or the meanings of each dance are above your understanding. Travels With Sheila freely admits that she can not tell a "Dakini" (the gold mask dancers) from the 7 personifications, from a "Vajira", or a "Padmavajra."

It was just important to be here and watch the colorful dances as well as the crowd that swelled by the minute. However, a little festival goes a long way when a person sits for three to four hours in the sun, swilling water, and there's no bathroom in sight. Help!
