Vraja - Vrindavan

Vraja is a region mainly in Uttar Pradesh of India, around Mathura-Vrindavan. It is considered to be the land of Krishna.

In Vraja is many holy places connectet to Lord Krishna for example: Gokul, Vrindavan, Govardhan, Kusum Sarovar, Varsana, Radhakund and many others. Region is closely related to the Vedic epic Mahabharata. Krishna is said to have spent his childhood and adolescence in Vraj.
