ISKCON Gainesville, Krishna house -video gallery

Gainesville's Krishna House was established in 1971 by a young student couple who had turned their apartment into a peaceful place for students to practice bhakti yoga. Today the center is home to the Bhakti Academy, an educational program designed to provide full-immersion experiences for students interested in practicing bhakti yoga in a temple atmosphere. Bhakti Academy students the temple ashram for one to two semesters, studying ancient Vedic scriptures. In exchange for tuition and room & board, Bhakti Academy students serve Krishna Lunch on campus, organize community educational classes, assist in temple programs, and help maintain the temple/ashram facility.   Picture gallery >>
