The desperate tragedy in Rustenburg at the mines, is the starving families: Indian, White, Black and Coloured. They have lost and sold everything they had, even clothes,to remain alive.
They are practically, literally, starving.
They have given up their houses and moved in together, as many as possible, in order to remain alive. Children faint in school, because of hunger; a boy has stayed two days in a sick room, he is too ashamed of his broken clothes to go out.
Children in private schools had been taken out of school, parents can not afford the fees, the transport, or food. Of course, desperately hungry children can not walk to school.
Is it perhaps possible to do something for them with Food for Life?
