Key Gompa or Key Monastery is a thousand and 10 year old Tibetan Buddhist monastery located prominently on top of a hill at an altitude of 4,166 meters (13,668 feet) in the Spiti Valley.

The hill where Key gompa lies is the palace of the Tantric deity Chakrasamvara. The three rocky spurs towering above the mountain at the back of the monastery are the abodes of Chamsing, Lhamo and Neser, deities protecting the monastery.
