Ravindra Svarupa Prabhu

Ravindra Svarupa Dasa received a BA in Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania in 1966.  Ravindra Svarupa Dasa (William H. Deadwyler) joined the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in 1971 in Philadelphia, where he has served for most of his devotional career. He is an initiated disciple of Founder Acharya, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. In 1987 he was elected to ISKCON’s Governing Body Commission and serves as an initiating guru.
He has also served as a writer, lecturer and researcher with ISKCON’s Bhaktivedanta Institute and as a writer and editor for Back to Godhead magazine. Ravindra Svarupa Dasa has published a number of articles about Gaudiya Vaishnava philosophy and about ISKCON.  He is the temple president of ISKCON of Philadelphia.
